What an excellent place and the staff was the best. Thank Alma for making me more than welcome. I didnt feel like I was staying at a guest house but like I was at my own home.

Thank you for a very nice stay. Our host, Alma made every possible effort to make our stay worthwhile. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with free WiFi and nice breakfast. Cape Gate shopping mall is close by. We will see them again in March.

Stunning venue, Great hosts, Lovely food. Alma and Danie, make you feel at home, staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall very pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely recommend this venue to all family and friends, and be back.

A great place with great hosts. Spent 12 days in the honeymoon suite (thanks for fhe upgrade!). These guys went out of there way to make us feel comfortable with use of the BBQ and kitchen. Although it's close to the road we never heard the traffic. Breakfast was a pleasure. You will need a car but nothing seems far...

I stayed at Dark Chocolate Guest House on a few occasions in the last few months (August - October 2016) for business. I found the rooms comfortable and clean, the hospitality of Alma & Dannie warm, helpful & accommodating (early breakfast...). I had dinners there as well, and it was always great. Thank you! will definitely stay here again.

Could not have chosen a more suitable Guest House for my 2 night stay in Durbanville. Secure on-premises parking, complimentary upgrade to fabulous room 6 that was 5*. I echo Wendy W's review - spot on! A big thank you to Alma and Danie for your incredible hospitality and no prizes for guessing where I'll be staying in future.
